The Sostenuto Circle

Dear Neighbors,
This year marks the 10th Season of Music at the Southfield Church – a milestone made possible by vision, generosity, and a community that believed beautiful music belongs here.
What began with the gift of a piano, an unforgettable inaugural concert by a gifted young local pianist, and a patron’s simple question – “How do we do this again and again?” – has grown into a cherished cultural treasure in the southern Berkshires.
For ten seasons, artists of remarkable depth and generosity have filled this sacred space with glorious sound. Audiences have gathered. Friendships have formed. Music has lingered long after the final note.
The Sostenuto Circle is the sustaining heart of this series.
As we celebrate a decade of artistry, we invite you to join – or renew your place – in this circle of sustaining support. Your participation ensures that Music at the Southfield Church continues to present the highest level of musical excellence while remaining accessible to all.
In an era when arts organizations face increasing uncertainty, your sustaining contribution provides continuity – the very essence of sostenuto. Together, we ensure that this music continues to resonate across generations.
We would be honored to welcome you into the Sostenuto Circle for our 10th Season.
